Spent so much time on Clubhouse the last days, and loved all the conversations so far. I've listened to so many different topics, and it's incredibly inspiring.

We’ve been patiently waiting and finally have some snow lately 😂 I wish I could enjoy it a lot more but all I do is work, work, work 🤭🙃
Only dreaming about building my Olaf those days - maybe next weekend.

It wasn't that bad after all. We still got to see each other, travel in the summer months, enjoyed our own surroundings, and learned to appreciate the small, valuable things. Never take anything for granted ☝🏼

Thanks 2020 for teaching us some important lessons but hey, happy that year is finally over 🙌

CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS 🎅🏼

Not much longer, and it's Christmas, yay!
While in the USA, Santa visits the night before the 25th, and you get your presents as soon as you wake up that day, we do it a little different here:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In my tradition, we celebrate the night of the 24th as the "Holy Night" where the "Christkind" (Christ Child (?) in English 😂😂) is bringing the presents. As a kid, we went to church in the afternoon. When we got home at around 5 pm, we had to use the back entrance to the house (because you shall not disturb the Christkind ☝🏼😂). After a few minutes, my Mom rang a bell, which symbolized it's time to come and gather around the Christmas tree. (We're actually STILL doing the bell thing 😂). The 25th and 26th are the days we (usually - thanks 'Rona) visit families and friends.

Empty streets are a thing now. To be honest? I learned to enjoy it. It's quiet, peaceful, and refreshing 🥰 We finally get to experience the most crowded places without a single soul around.

Being in another lockdown is hard for sure (oh, how bad would I want to travel again), but hey, we gotta make the best of it. By now, I am so annoyed and worried about the level of aggression that's going on in our society - especially on social media. Isn't a pandemic something we can only get through TOGETHER? We can have different opinions, for sure. But when did we stop discussing on a neutral level? Why are some people so anger-thriven they go from zero to 100 in the blink of an eye telling everyone to WaKe UpP!!11!!1! (lol) and yell at everybody for no reason.

Please tell me I'm not the only one worrying about this?!

Anyway - we gotta deal with what we've got and try our best to stay safe and respect others.

So if you need me, I'll be here color-coordinating my closet for the fifth time now while baking banana bread. 😝😂
